A Letter From the President of BTHSnews
Editorials — By Chiyeung Lau on August 26, 2009 at 11:32 amWelcome to BTHSnews 2010. I hope the Brooklyn Tech community enjoys our new layout and I hope they see that BTHSnews is going under many changes- changes for better. As technology moves on forward, BTHSnews must move forward. We are now interconnected with Twitter and Facebook. In the hopes that communication with us and the school community will be easily accessible. But even as we change, one aspect of us will never change. The fact that we are a independently run student news organization that seeks to provide the most up to date and relevant information for the Brooklyn Tech community.
We hope that our accessibility will help the community be more aware of what is going on in their school. Though this is a task a single person can not do alone, and so BTHSnews is open to anyone who is interested in joining. BTHSnews is like a family, a family with wide open arms that will take anyone who shows interest.
With that said, I would like to thank everyone who has made it possible. The amazing staff for their hard work in helping me with the revival project over the past few months. BTHSnews alumni such as Josh Margul, Francis Gulotta as well as others for helping us over the past few months and doing many favors for us. Ilya Rubnich who worked feverishly over the summer on the site overhaul and the design, we would not be here without you!
I hope everyone is ready for the 2010 school year! Best of luck to all. Hopefully I will see you at a BTHSnews meeting and events! See you on the forums!
