BETA- Let us lead by serving others!

The National BETA Club is a national honor society dedicated to promoting leadership and achievement in the areas of scholarship and service. With a motto like “Let us lead by serving others,” the BETA club stresses the importance of honesty, justice, service, cooperation, responsibility, industriousness, humility, and charity. BETA focus on community services and approximately 100 students are involved in this almost completely student-run organization, serving those in need through a variety of events like Soup Kitchen, Operation Santa Claus, New York Junior League, Special Olympics, and many more. This year BETA would like more Tech students to lend their hands to those in need!!

The requirements for BETA are:

-Sophomore: 150 hours of community service

-Junior: 200 hours of community service

-Senior: 250 hours of community service

- 85 or better average (Must provide copy of transcript)

-Fulfilled citizenship requirements for your grade level (This will be verified by your COSA)

-An essay (Question choice on application)

-Letter verifying community service hours
