The Boys Varsity Basketball team lost by 5 to the undefeated Bedford Academy Panthers. Last month, the Panthers beat Tech by 10 in the first game of the season.
Many Tech students and teachers were in attendance to cheer on the team. The cheers could be heard throughout the school.
Throughout the first half of the game, Tech only allowed 27 points, and led by 10, but gave up the lead in the second half.
When a senior guard, Kherel Silcott, fouled out, Tech was at an extreme disadvantage. Silcott was such a huge part of the team, averaging almost 19 points per game and almost 14 rebounds points per game.
The final score was 66-61. Tech’s next game is at Prospect Heights, who are 4-3. Tech defeated Prospect Heights 66-60 last month.
