I always thought it was much more than 4 years after undergrad. Anyway it's an admirable job and if I was able to go to school that long, I'd love to do it :)

It's just something I've come to terms with, plus I don't consider undergrad as something that'll take 100% of my day & residency will be just like working. So I'm only seeing myself as giving up 4 years in med school. A lot of people in their 40s who I've spoken to told me that if they could do it all again than they'd be doctors.

I've been set on medical school with a non-science undergrad major for the past 1.5-2 years. But that's just me. :P
