M$ says it isnt critical because of the amount of required user assitance. Well, what if the jpeg is named something like pr0npic.jpeg? Tons of people will be downloading it. It would even be more effective if it were a zip file full of pr0npic.jpeg's, so they look less suspicious.

Like two weeks? I don't recall hearing news about it *that* long ago. Tech news usually hits here a little late anyway.

Umm... Not BROOKLYN TECH news - apparently you guys get that almost as soon as it happens nowerdays. Freaks.

Why would they like viruses?... The fun of calling up microsoft... waiting an hour on hold and then being able to complain?

And if there was a Linux virus, you would call up... and wait forever. Because there is no one to call for help.

Or it would be fixed before you had a chance to complain... There are plenty of mailing lists and developers that work around the clock (mostly due to poor sleeping habits and different time zones) that fix this stuff, and you can go ask them on their progress. They're real people, not a faceless cooperation.

Like... I've emailed people and got them to tell me their entire business plan before. What they had in store for the future. These are real people.

If you have a personal question to ask, PM him.

He graduated Tech a few years ago, which is why he can post at [9]:58 AM.

That's me at the moment, back to jpeg viri.
