I wouldn't say it's cheap, and I wouldn't compare it to an iPod (maybe a Portable Media Player like Archos or Samsung, but even then they all have their own HDs). Duo Memory Sticks can only hold so much. What CD are you speaking of? You can easily convert movies and music with free programs found on the net. If your speaking of the UMDs then you've been fooled, Sony is never gonna release the UMD format to the public. I'm pretty sure the DS has speakers too and I've heard users say that the DS has a longer battery life. Yeah, but whats the point when all you do is keep it in your jacket? I think people can figure out what you have there when you're wildly tapping away at a glossy black, round object.

PSP batterylife:5 hours and less down to 1.5 hours, DS 6-10
PSP $250 w internal media player a 32 meg card (8 songs and ur game saves, 1 gig can be up to 200 dollars) case (why hold the handheld?) remote??? and wrist strap. DS $150 demo game extra stylus , you can purchase Pla-Yan (this fall will be out in america) and a 1 gig SD card for $15.
PSP game price MINIMUM is 50 bucks. DS game MAX 40 bucks.
PSP Universal Media Drive (not very universal) 1.8 gigs but DRAINS battery life, DS cartriges are 1 gig, space will double soon (a law in physics indicates that the amount of transistors on a chip will double each 18 months, coming soon) cartriges are more durable than a HD disk in a piece of plastic....
PSP 330 mhz (but is underclocked so really 220) DS 100 mhz total.
DS is just under GC graphics, PSP is just under PS2 graphics, GC is stronger in graphics than PS2, you do the math (the only reason the PSP CURRENTLY has better graphics is that its umd has .8 gigs more space than DS cartriges (soon to be .2 gigs ahead umd)
My coice: DS, i wrote a 6 PAGE REPORT on this, i know what im saying......

Storage size:
ds: 128MB
psp: 1.8GB
sources: http://hardware.game...1722-1231-x-x-x
http://www.psphacker.com/
Thats more than 10x the storage space
Battery life:
DS 6-10
PSP 3- 10 hours
source: http://psp.ign.com/a...4/574557p1.html
Prices:
PSP game prices are not a minimum on 50. shame on you liar.
ds games retail from 30-35$
Psp games retail from 40-50 $
Proof:

PSP speed vs ds:
I dont care about the speed of the ds, but the psp's speed is sony locked for now uo to 222mhz. It HAS been unlocked via code for all emulators/homebrew.
Graphics:
DS ridge racer:

PSP ridge racer:

Stop spreading lies. 6 page report? Yeah, ok.
Wipeout pure looks better than ridge racer, and it takes up 200MB. The ds will never ever have a game that has graphics even close to the psp's, because its gpu is not capable of rendering as much pixels as the psp

As of the next direct successor, no idea.
I don't own any consoles nor handhelds. PC's are my best friend.

i dont care WHAT in the world these sites say ok??
i have 4 people i know personally who have psp and they tell REAL LIVE EXPERIENCES. not !@#$ from sites. i sit down day and night comparing the two with REAL info and if you dont belive my 6 page report i can easily email u one copy and to any one else who wants one.
and if u still dont belive me and still think i actually have a life its sad for you. Don't Ever EVER argue with ME about games, because out in this world i havnt seen anyone who devotes himself to fairly arguing about games. sure the psp has some advantages, i dont care. they dont matter.
dont try to tell me a media player is a better handheld than an actual handheld by a company that ONLY makes games and systems.

maybe if u can read ur first site "PROOF" it says MORE THAN ONE GIGABYTE, 128 Mb in "SIZE" and if u did any real electronics and physics in your sad life you would know that in a matter of months a physics law states that every 18 months the amount of transistors that can be fit on a chip will double which will lead to the ds cartridge being 2 gigabytes in CAPACITY ....200 mb ahead of the umd which is a low quality harddrive in plastic
second site says 10 hours for MUSIC playing ONLY now if this so called POWERFUL handheld is soo good at games so wouldnt you play games or watch movies on it. OOHHHH there goes the battery life for games and movies. and even so, if you were only going to play music, you could have just bought a mp3 player that is a fraction of the size and price or pla-yan for the gba or ds.... whoops u didnt see that, did ya?? besides who would even listen to 10 hours of music..... not me or any humane person on earth, if u do, you should seek a mental doctor's help immediately.
thirdly the psp game price minimum is STILL more than ds game price maximum
fourth and last, when the nes was realeased and smb one was released those graphics were great and there were more systems with a little more power by the time the snes was nearly out the nes had graphics that were near snes power. the older a system gets the better its graphics do... why you ask??? CARTRIDGES YOU MORON, CARTRIDGES!!! There capacity constantly increases. the same will happen with ds. nintendo always does that, starts low and jumps insane. Super Mario 64 to paper mario for nintendo 64 etc.
YOU ARE THE ONE READING LIES. NEVER TELL ME IM LYING. YOU ARE THE SICK LIER AND BLIND FANBOY!!!!!

If you're going to argue this much over handheld video game systems, then this is pretty pathetic.
Each of you thinks that your system is better, and both of you are going to be too stubborn to ever change your minds.
Can we leave it at that?
Well, we are. Locked.
