I think it's more so the parents.

It reminds me of 5-6 years ago, the Daily News had some contest where you had to clip out little things from random parts of the newspaper, and the class with the most clippings in NYC would win. Parents in my school would go digging through garbage cans and steal newspaper bundles to get tickets, and a class from our school actually won.

Sorry, I forgot to clarify: the contest was for a trip to Disneyland or something like that.

...but still, you're right, that doesn't justify the digging through garbage cans.

At this point it is unrealistic for us to win this thing. I think we should all just forget about it and start fresh next year.

Did anyone even read the rules? Leo2car, did you sign our school up? Because if you did... we're not eligible. An adult 18+ has to register our school.

That was exactly I was looking at and wondering about a few days ago. The first vote was on 2005-09-16 though, I doubt leo2car would wait 'til now to tell us. I'm sure the registration/verification process stressed the age issue.

Hmm, I guess it could be possible that someone from school signed us up. But you'd think that they'd tell us to vote in advance...

If you guys wanna vote, go ahead. We don't need live updates, though.
