The Key Club is interested in partnering with us in tutoring kids at the Brooklyn Hospital, the one just across from our school. The tutoring program will begin sometime in January. It's every Tuesday and Thursday after-school from 3:30 pm to around 5pm. You can come to just one of the two days or both. However, this is a long-term commitment to the program. Once you volunteer there, you will have to go either on Tuesday or Thursday every week until June. But if you like to work with kids, here's your chance! You will get the community service hours and 20 points for BETA. This volunteer service will look really good for all of those who want to enter a pediatrics or child-related profession in the future.

In addition, you must be 16 yrs or older, but if you're turning 16 by next January or February, you can still sign-up. If you are interested or have any questions, please reply asap to betabths@yahoo.com with your name so that Jamie will make more copies for the registration forms. Then the following Monday after the Thanksgiving break, the people who signed up will go over to the Brooklyn Hospital after-school with a Key Club member to give in the forms because the hospital want the volunteers to register directly.
