Hey Darlings (NHS and non NHS members alike),

NHS is kicking off a holiday canned food drive for the homeless this winter! It'll last until around the last week of the school year, at which point NHS's Community Service Committee will bring those cans to a local charity.

We're not asking you to end world hunger, but we do ask that you join in the project...and have fun while you're at it!

I myself bought 3 different cans for the food drive:
My 1st can was of chicken pieces because a good friend of mine and I heart chicken. My 2nd can was tuna because my best friend loves fish. My 3rd can was of green veggies, because the chairperson of Community Services who I love so much is a vegetarian.
Gotta Represent 8-)

no, you don't lol... but I wanted to. and you can do whatever you want, however you want. we really WILL appreciate anything you can give. and ultimately, it'll be someone less fortunate than us who'll appreciate your generosity even more.

"So dig deep in your hearts and donate at least one canned item this month because the satisfaction of helping the unfortunate outweighs the price of a canned item" -Harsh, chair of Community Services

You can drop off your cans at the NHS office in room 1W7 anytime throughout the day. There'll be a brown cardboard box RIGHT THERE as you walk in where you can keep the cans.

Thank you from all of us @ NHS! :)

I'd like to bring some in but do we get service credit? I mean I'll bring it in either way, but it would be a plus. hehe.

No, you don't. It would, but we're hoping people don't do it just to get credit.
