anyone ever played StarCraft? Age Of Empires? they sucked right?
They are not "strategy games." It only matters how long you've been playing n how fast you click your mouse...
Guess what? I introduce to you SeordCast, a multi-player turn-based text REAL strategy game!
Everything works in words and commands you give in building, bidding at the market, summoning/casting units, attacking, land gaining, etc.
Many of you seem to be beyond games like Brood War or CounterStrike, so give SeordCast a try at www.seordcast.com
my suggestion is that you try Crusorc first

I <3 CS! and i like bw a bit, but I'm gonna quit playing computer games soon anyway.
Anyway, is that game like Earth2025? It's like a round based game, where you gather turns by day, and you spend it to fix problems, conquer lands, and do other things?

Seordcast is one of the best games around. It involves a great deal of strategy but it is a whole lot fun to play. It is sort of like Earth2025 from what Xilenx is saying but it is more like a middle age setting.

I'm sorry to get off topic but I was overly confused just now I thought that that massive picture was for the game and then I realized no it's Messiah's gargantuan avatar. Dude it's way to big downsize. And no God does not hate me thank you.

I deleted it already, sorry for the late notice bu I was celebrating the 18th birthday.
The way you described the game it sounded like Heroes of Might and Magic. It's pretty old, but it was damn fun. But I love my first person shooters, XIII rawks!

Medieval: Total War is better. It is a combination of turn-based strategy and real-time tactics. In the strategy interface, you manage your empire, create armies, etc. In the tactical combat phase, you fight in full 3d with hills, rivers, bridges, buildings, etc, as well as such factors as unit morale, fatigue, experience, limited ammo, etc.
Have a very nice day.

Medieval: Total War is a ROM game, but SeordCast is played for free online using your browser. There is no competition between a game on CD n a game coded on computer n played on the Internet.
While SeordCast may not include all the attributes of real war, the Administrator (a 22yr old Singaporean) of the game is working on it
Note that the amount of time one can spend on SeordCast varies greatly. Each player gets 1 turn every 5 minutes, and turns max out at 200 until you use them again. So You can come home, sip a cup of coffee, n manage your kingdom for 20 minutes and be done for the day. Its a fun, exciting, n non-time-consuming game, great for us Tech kids....
SeordCast Version 2 is due this year if all circumstances prove favorable. The game will include landmasses, new units, and other new, realistic complications.
SeordCast has an extremely small player base, which makes an interesting forum quite manageable, unlike this forum where 2 minutes after you post you get 10 responses...*sigh*.... The game itself has quite an interesting variety of peoples from all around the world, literally.

Heroes of Might and Magic is a great game, but it's too slow passed for me, because you have to wait for someone else to go and so on, it makes me feel useless until its my turn again.
For Seordcast, that sounds exactly like Earth 2025, something I use to play, and I remember that it was really fun for the longest time...I guess it got old pretty quick, I might be up for Seordcast again sometime..
Until then, #Clanrs
Only some people will understand, and that's perfectly fine with me.

well.. text strategy games in general get old pretty quick
but if you have people to guide your way..teach you..discuss battle results with you... it'd be a lot more fun
