Anyways, here's a thread in which you can rant about anything: how bad your day was, how much homework you have, etc. I can be something positive, too.

Dont you just hate going to a site, and for some reason your fire wall is off, and getting 20 popups block every possible inch of your screen? Then, luckily, your anti-virus is on and it catches countless no-close trojans before they do their work. Then you have to run ad-aware just in case to get rid of all that spy ware. All because some greedy bastards out there want to make a buck. Good thing bthsnews.org doesn't rely on ads!

Don't you hate it when you come back after a day or two to see the new posts on here and its over a hundred, but you have to read them all, ecuase you're the moderator? no...too bad

But you gotta hate it when you do read them and some complete a** is posting so much stupid !@#$ on the forums that his stupidity is faster than your logic and while you try to post 1 logical, factual post, he's postsed 4 inane, pointless posts on how he thinks he's the messiah and would like to rescue you from god?

I've got a very high stupidity threshold. I've debated morons that would make your head implode from the sheer stupidity. I mean, you could fill pages with a list of logical fallacies they commit. Messiah is nothing by comparison. Doesn't bother me at all.

But about your post, don't argue with an idiot, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That's an old one, but funny nonetheless. Unfortunately, there are situations when arguing with morons is inevitable. Other times, its amusing. And when you become bored, you flame them to hell (at least at place dedicated to mockery of stupid people)

To get rid of popups, download the google toolbar. Go to www.google.com and look for it. It's a nice addition and works pretty well. No pop ups what so ever. Well, once in a while sometimes. :?

First of all, a backdoor is not a pop-up. Secondly, I use mozilla firebird, so it has a built in pop-up blocker.

z2z007, if you do have a problem with pop-ups, mainly system pop ups that use net messenger, disable the net messenger service in windows. If its browser pop-ups, then don't forget to enablle bocking unrequested windows in the firebird preferneces.

If you have a virus issue, the MyDoom.B virus is going around and even I had it, here's a link to a quick free scan and removal utility for the MyDoom/Novorag virus:

if that's not the website, google that. It autorepairs many things, but in order to actually repair some of the lesser important stuff (which is somethings a pain in the a**), you'll have to buy it.

Thanx, it turns out that it was a simple executive file that was arousing my suspicions. I terminated it using BlackICE and made all the necessary changes to my system.

2) It sucks a** more when Mods cross their line from admonishing into direct dirty insulting.
3) In debating there is a better in chance in winning when you question rather than asserting yourself n be attacked with plenty criticisms in response.
