Note to Mods: Hope this sort of thing is allowed. If not, go ahead and close it.

I'm generally new to the whole blogging business, but would like to give some little exposure to my blog:
http://untiednews.blogspot.com/

I only started a blog this past week on Blogger.com, and unlike the conventional weblog, it was, at first, just a place to post my Radish submissions (I'm a member of our school's satirical paper, The Radish). Both negative and positive critique is appreciated.

While we're on the subject of blogs, would anyone like posting theirs? I'd give me a good idea of how a blog goes, plus I'd be interested in the type of blogs you all keep.

I like the spin you have on your blog. It is quite interesting, kind of like the Radish (but better). Most blogs I have seen are personal blogs where people just ramble on and are quite boring. If you really want to do news (of the humor sort), we'd be glad to offer you to column of your own on the main page and you can earn club credit and get a lot of hits that way.

Hey, nice blog :) Keep up the good work.

I also do blogging but on a slightly different note. Since October of 2005 I have been running a photoblog of my photography around New York City which gives a sense of what life is like in the city. The link to my blog is http://nycdan.blogspot.com.

That sounds like a really nice offer. I'll have to take some time to think about it though, since I don't necessarily have the freest schedule. Would I have to come to meetings, or do I get the credit by just writing articles for the site?

Thanks. You have a really nice looking blog too. The photographs are excellent and professional looking. I'd be happy to add a link to your blog on mine if you wish.

In the meantime, I have decided that I might want to update my blog regularly (it's a news blog, after all). Since my last post, I have put up two new articles. Read them if you're interested.

Good job, Boink. Are you doing solely poltical news? That's probably the best way to go (news on a particular subject).

I have a food blog and I've started July of 2005, but I won't post the link up here. You could easily search me out though. Blogging is a pretty rewarding experience, especially when you're meeting a lot of people like I am. Good luck.

Oh, and Dan: What's with all the swans? ;) I don't really bother with a photoblog, so I just upload to my flickr instead: Tighter community that will criticize and peruse your work.

You can just stop by during our meetings now and then, if you want. However, the offer is still open even if you can't make our meetings. You can just write the articles on your own and we will be perfectly fine with it.

I might do just basic world news. But politics would make much funnier articles. I'll just wait and see.

Your blog wasn't hard to find. It's really nice too, and you've centered it around an interesting topic.

I'll have to say, your offer looks very attractive. I'll try to come up with a decision this weekend, and message you on it.
