The Monthly NHS newsletter will be posted on the website every month beginning this month.

The Communications Committee announced during the last General Meeting that the Newsletter is now headed in a new direction (thanks to suggestions from our fellow NHS members): Providing juniors and seniors with helpful information regarding Academic Programs outside of Tech, scholarships, and college information/profiles. We've also included a fun activity at the back (usually sudoku) as well.

We hope that you find the Benchmark to be more worth your time now that we've changed things a bit.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome - especially regarding the content of the newsletter. If you have any ideas for the next issue, please email the Communications Committee Chairperson Sandy (see contact page) or contact the Webmaster (me) and we'll see if we can put it in the next issue.

Thanks!

Holy OMG! The Benchmark Online is in COLOUR (of green and blue)!

Oh wait, never mind! I saw that one when I was just auditing in the Comm. Com. meeting.

I may stand alone in this one, but would it be possible not to have Sudoku on every issue? I can't think of a suitable alternative atm (will edit if I come with one). Also, how about an editorial (of the month) column? [That'll make deciding one of the content for the benchmark easier]

Brooklyn Tech Class of 2006 ▶ Bio-Med Major

Hunter College 2011 ▶ Biochemistry (BA) | Adolescent Education (MA)

hhaha - yah sorry there'll never be any color in the real newsletter. We just don't have the money for that =P

Hmmm yes it is true I guess that the sudoku is kind of out-of-place in an NHS newsletter and an editorial does sound like a good idea. Would publishing an editorial be restricted to the members of the communications committee or should it be open to all members?

(Lots of newsletters do in fact have puzzle games in there somewhere - so we don't necessarily have to remove it - but hey, its up to you guys)
