Warning: Dont take this seriously!

I saw it on another forum that I frequent often, and thought that it was really, really fun to use whenever you wanna make fun of politics :D.

I especially like this question:

39: Television is saturated with far too much...
CONS: sex, nudity, and underwear advertising.
LIBL: gratuitous violence.
LBRT: PBS programming.
COMM: consumerism.

and:
101: Should parents spy on their children?
CONS: Yes. Sometimes a parent's got to do what a parent's got to do.
LIBL: No. Parents shouldn't violate their children's privacy unless there is strong evidence of severe misbehavior--such as having to bail them out of jail at 3:00 A.M. for curfew violations and armed robbery.
LBRT: No. I trust them.
COMM: Yes, and vise-versa.

(If you actually read the key, you'd know what the cons, libl, lbrt, and comm stand for).

Hah, and I used to think that I was a Liberal! (Turned out I was a Libertarian :D)

105: Should students be allowed to bring weapons to school?

CONS: Ordinarily, no, except perhaps on special occasions, such as the opening day of hunting season, "Show and Tell" type class projects, or when taking courses to get a concealed weapons permit.

LIBL: No. Students should not even be permitted to play with imaginary toy weapons, let alone bring a real weapon to school.

LBRT: Absolutely. Many of today's schoolyards are battle zones of gang warfare. A student packing heat to insure his personal safety is surely a constitutionally protected form of bearing arms.

COMM: No. The only people normally on school premises who should be permitted to carry weapons are members of the secret police.

Of course students should be able to carry weapons. Do you really think Columbine would have gotten so out of hand if it was a situation of two deviants surrounded by hundreds who could put them down? I think not.

As always, the problem with guns is that those who intend to use them for malice will invariably get their hands on one. So the real question is, will we allow everyone else to be a potential victim, or give them a fighting chance? But I digress...

This is an interesting test, but it's really annoying that it's not a functional, click-able one. Does anyone know if there's one out there that doesn't require manual tabulation?

You know, the above sentiment makes me feel very thankful that you are no longer in Tech, then again, the little I've gained from your posts seems to suggest you would'nt have pulled a Columbine if you had the resources, but I digress.

The test is very hilarious, I found out that I am exactly in tune with my beliefs...

Liberal-Commie to the core!!
It's much easier being politically incorrect.

I took like 70 questions and got tired lol. From that, I'm like tied between being a liberal and libertarian, which I thought I was too.

I just finished the beta of a more interactive version of the test: http://developer.gre...re.net:81/quiz/

There's an issue in IE that prevents selecting an answer by clicking on the text when it's a list. In this case, just click on the radio button as you normally would on a form. Also, you don't have to finish all the questions...it'll calculate based on what you do answer. Oh, and sorry about the ugly results page...didn't have time to work on it yet.

You're right, it's not my intent for people to die; just the opposite. What I was suggesting was the application of the Mutually Assured Destruction concept from nuclear warfare, but on a smaller scale. I surmise that if we create an armament stalemate, people will be deterred from using guns out of fear of retribution.

I do it for the people (even though I'm more conservative than commie)! :P

Actually, you guys inadvertently inspired me to finally sit down and start making the foundation of that testing software I've been putting off for the longest time.

I find that funny, considering how most of the BTHSnews staff is lazy, with the exception of AFaust3.

Now now children... settle down and play nice.

I haven't had the time to sit down and read through the whole document, but from little I read, I think it's actually quite accurate.

Well, stereotypes do tend to stem from consistent patterns more often than not, so I can't say I'm very surprised by your revelation.

Wait a minute.
Did you consult with the person who MADE the actual test before you did that?
Or was it already his idea?

(So confused).

The test is not mine, I didn't come up with the idea. I just fabricated an interactive version is all. Basically, I borrowed intellectual property without permission. :P

Based on the 30 questions you answered, you are...

37% Libertarian (11/30)
40% Liberal (12/30)
23% Conservative (7/30)
