Do we have any NMap hackers here?
I have been having a problem with the Win32 Command Line version of NMap. If anybody is an experienced NMap user, it would be much appreciated if you could try and help me. Thanx.

It could be because you are running WinXp SP2. SP2 doesn't support NMap.
On a side note, I do not want any illegal uses of NMap to be described or mentioned in this thread. Otherwise, this thread will be deleted.

Hum. I was under the impression that nmap was for *nix. Darn, I missed out.

Hmm... Guess you were trying to type Unix
Yea, when NMap became really popular they started expanding the OS limit. I believe it is now available for Win32 (98/2000/XP), Linux, Unix, BSD and Solaris.

No, I'm pretty sure he meant to type that. "*nix" a way of saying Linux, Free BSD, Solaris, etc.
But today you just read that the man was shot dead
By a gun that didn't make any noise
