Yea, you got me, ZoSo, Reincarnation hooked on that. I remember when I used to be an avid chess player. These days I don't get the time nor the opportunity to play. I guess I'm somewhat old school.

I'm more into checkers than chess. Probably because I don't know how to play chess.

Lets see im a game fanatic so I have played many games over the years mainly strategy games. I have played Black&White, Starcraft, Starcraft Broodwar, Diablo II, Diablo II expansion pack, Warcraft III, Frozen Throne, Currently playing WoW, Gunbound, Counter-Strike, Homeworld, Homeworld Cataclysm, Homeworld II ( god those 3 games rocked and consumed so much time, the graphics were awesome!) Halo, Freelancer, Rome Total War, Warhammer 40k Dawn of war, Winter assault. It goes on and on  .

Last Year I was obsessed with Sims.

I had Sims, Sims 2, but Urbz was my favorite.

And I only played it for GBA because the GC games suck.

I'm scared to start playing others because I don't want to get addicted.

yeah i doubt playing games too much has a big affect on grades because i've never played nor have i ever seen any of these games in my entire life and somehow i still have only an 85 average <_<

Hey, an 85 isn't so bad. It'll still get you into a decent college. I bet if you were a nethead or a cyberdrone, your average would be a lot lower. I was going through some pretty bad family stuff in grade 7 and had to escape--got addicted to some games (Gunbound, Warcraft, Sims) and stuff because they made me feel like I had control over SOMETHING--ANYTHING. My grades dropped from 90s to 70s in two months. You couldn't tear me away. It does something to your brain, and anybody who doesn't think it's addicting is wrong. I got addicted to that brain chemistry of feeling like I was making progress, when my real life was too hard, too much work, tough to face. I thought if I ignored all the nightmare stuff, it would go away. No, it just made the rest of the year more hellish. Draws out the pain. Now, I try to stomp right over fear and right into what feels like big trouble. Otherwise it just chases you for a really long time and you have to scramble. You lose a lot of opportunities fast.

Guess what? If you google internet addiction you'll find over 9 million sites. I have friends who failed school because of gaming addictions, or sites like neopets, facebook and myspace. It's not like escaping into books either. You've gotta put a book down to get other stuff done, but we can fake everybody out by pretending to be typing a school assignment and flipping with the speed of light back and forth between games or coding or im-ing. Whatever. You know how good we are at it. We can fool anyone. Hehe.

Probably better to just knock yourself out with a hammer on bad days.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2...oh gawd...I was addicted, fighting Doom Dragon and Fusion Dragon, Dullahan, Deadbeard...great storyline with Four Lighthouses and the four elements, great graphics for GBA, awesome Djinni/Summoning system. It was beautiful, best turn-based RPG I've ever played.

mm, online....Diablo 2: LoD, not really addicting but fun. GunZ The Duel Online. I'm addicted to this game...I'm actually one of the top gladiators in the game. It's like where The Matrix meets Counterstrike except...slightly less cooler.

I have heard of rehab clinics for people addicted to games. I have never been addicted. I would say more like slightly obsessive. Halo 2, Pokemon, and Metroid Fusion all had this effect.

Haha, I played neopets before. The neopets staff ban too often, 40% of the players are banned.
