A friend was kind of explaining it to me once, and I zoned out. But I remember some of it and it's that they have no special abilities, but they get choosen, but a watcher or something, which basically trains them in vampire killing.

And in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", theres currently 3 slayers (at one time), I believe, because Buffy died twice (?). Something like that. I don't remember anything else.

Well yeah there are many potential slayers and every generation one gets chosen. And slayers do in fact have special abilities they have super human strength and they can tell when a big bad is coming they can sense it thru their dreams.

There were never three slayers at one time except for at the very end when all of the potentials became slayers bcuz of that spell Willow did.

After Buffy died the first time Kendra came. Then Kendra was killed and Faith came. Faith was really a third string slayer which is why she went evil she came from a bad line. There was never really one slayer that came after Buffy died the second time. Some say that was fixed bcuz Willow brought her back and others say that was resolved in the last episode when all of the potentials became slayers.

And Dawn wasn't a gatekeeper that was from Ghostbusters. Dawn was the Key. You shouldn't try to explain things that you don't know anything about.

Yeah she does. Buffy runs super fast. In one instance she ran across town to save Andrew from getting killed by a fireball. And in the last episode she was running along the tops of buildings to get away from the explosion that annihilated the whole town. Also she can jump really high. In the first episode "Welcome to Sunnydale" she jumped right over the school gate which is like 10 feet tall. What else she doesn't bruise very easily I can't think of anything else presently.

I hate the friggin' WB for this. Drop Buffy then Angel? BAH!.

I read an article where the head honcho says that he wants to drop ANGEL to make room for
a- reruns
b- a new 'gothic' vampire soap opera entitled Dark Shadows, to draw in the old Buffy/Angel crowd as well as new viewers.

Honestly, how stupid can you get? you lost all the angel/buffy fans ages ago. pfft.

Ah a friend in my plight.
A lot of drastic measures are being taken by Angel fans they've got billboards and all kinds of ads going. I think that I'm gonna start to do some crazy things too. The more voices the better.

Oh! In the new TV guide there's an article about ANGEL and Buffy possibly returning. It's a tad bit of a spoiler, so be warned!

"Sarah Michelle Gellar's deal to ressurect Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the May 19 series finale of ANGEL is all but signed in blood: "If she's available, she'll do it" her manager promises.

Insert some stuff from Joss Whedon saying that if Buffy is going to make an appearnce, the episode isn't going to be about the love triangle a la Buffy-Angel-Spike (Mmm.. Angel/Spike.. )

In the meantime, Whedon wil be welcoming back some other familiar faces. Michelle Trachtenberg is in talks to reprise her role as Buffy's kid sis, Dawn, for an early May ep that will also feature the toothsome tag team of Julie Benz(darla) and Juliet Landau(dru)."

So hurrah! How Dawn plays into this, not sure, but any sign of Dru is a good thing.
