It will be up on the beta website in a few weeks. I'll make an announcement when that happens.

Well its kinda up to Esong, as she is the BETA president, so if she says it'll be a while to the applications are ready, then I wouldn't fret.

And besides, esong, along with the other officers, are fair people. They understand you can't do an application and get all the signatures and stuff in like a week lol. That's crazy talk! They'll make it a fair deadline, don't worry about it! And we'll enjoy seeing you in BETA! :)

Yeah, we're hoping to get to the website up and running in the near future, and the applications will most likely be due in October

You're at least a sophomore when you apply, so that means your COSA has to verify whether or not you fulfilled your service credits for your pervious years at Tech. You know, the whole 2 credits per year thing for being in clubs, selling candy, etc.

BTW: The BETA application, for those who need it, is up on the BTHS.edu site. Go to the tab that says "Students" and click "BETA"

That post doesn't belong here, and there was no point of you in making a repeat post 15 minutes after you made the first one. Patience pays off sometimes.

9/28. It says so on the application, which you can find under the BETA tab on bths.edu. It's also somewhere on the forums, if you search.

and jj2: Mr. Wasserstein and Ms. Tuckman are both English teachers, so you might want to check the English department office to see when they have free periods. They're likely in their offices then.

To be accepted into the BETA Club is not enough. There are requirements to stay in BETA, such as having a certain number of points. Basically, every event is worth some number of points, depending on what event it is. For example, for the year before, events such as soup kitchens were worth 15 points, and members needed a minimum of 100 points to be inducted as a member at the end fo the year. I don't know how many points each event will be worth this year; we'll jsut have to wait and see.

I have a question to the officers-- at the beginning of the year, i think we were told that applications were due in mid october or something, and many people still think that. The fact that they're due thursday was completely not publicized in school. Is there any way of getting word out to those students who still think the app is due in october?
