I saw em. Honestly, i wasn't shocked about Spitzer. I'm uber happy that he won, and i'm probably going to campaign for him (if i find the time). As for Cuomo, he's not my fave... in that race, i was rooting for Sean Patrick Maloney, but he had no chance of winning. However, NY1 and stuff said that he has very good shots at other public offices now that his name is public, so thats cool. I've met the guy, and he's really nice. Hillary... Well, she's not my fave, again. I prefer the other Senator, Charles Schumer, 110%. But, Hil has a great chance of beating Spencer, and thats all that matters right now. Democrats have got to reclaim the House and Senate. Ari Kagan... that's... someone's dad, isn't it? Like i said in the other thread, i deff. didn't like him, but the race was tight, and towards the end i almost starting thinking that he might be the lesser of two evils. But yeah... my grandpa was at his campaign headquarters, so he was really dissapointed he lost. I'm just waiting till the day i can run for that seat.

Anyone else have any opinions?

While I did get a chance to vote in the primary (learn to love absentee ballots), there weren't many struggles in my area. The Democratic candidate for my congressional seat didn't win, but I'm very happy with the person who did win. I was not surprised that Spitzer or Clinton or Cuomo won the primaries, no one was able to get strong support to properly challenge them. I had never even heard of Clinton's anti-war competition. Basically, the Democrats realize that this is their best chance to take back control of New York State from the Republicans, and they made sure that the candidate that they really wanted had all the air time, and their opponents in the primaries had nothing. So now they have a unified front going into November to take back the state government. And they probably will do so.

Concerning Congress, I believe it is very possible for Democrats to take back the House. I will be attending a "Take back the House Party" on election night (ah, the joys of college), but I don't think the Senate is within reach. With the primary win of Republican Lincoln Chafee in Rhode Island (the popular senator there) and the investigations into donations to Dem. New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez, as well as tough senate races in other swing states like Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania, I think all the Democrats can hope for is to close the gap in the Senate, or at the very best, make the Senate 50-50.

Well, i met the guy in July at this thing i went to to commemorate teen hangings in Iraq, and i was a bit pissed that he was using such as somber event as a campaign stop. He was an okay guy though. Clinton, however, really does have a lot of backing behind her, and has the best chance of beating spencer.

Please, anyone can beat Spencer, except for Clinton's opponent. Spencer has no name recognition, any NY Democrat (Schumer, Spitzer, Cuomo, Ferrer, Green) can beat him because they have more name recognition. Besides, Clinton is so popular nationally. No one in New York really wants her to run for President in 2008, so where do you think all of this Hillary 2008 BS is coming from? It's from Democrats across the country.

This is our secret way of tring to abolish term limits so we can bring back Bill Clinton. Even though we're mad that he lied about having Monica Lewinski giving him sexual favors, we liked the lack of wars (that were noticable) and the good economy.

Voting is fun, but I wasn't in your district so I couldn't vote for your father, and as I really did pay attention to that campaign, I don't know if I would've.

I'm loving Louisiana for allowing Dual Voter Registration. I get to vote twice.

Gosh, don't get so defensive. I don't think he meant to offend you. But i have little faith in recounts changing things as well.

Yes he did mean to offend me, He's done it in many threads. Usually I also have little faith in recounts however in this election my dads opponent used so many dirty tricks that about 200-300 people were forced to cast emergency votes (paper votes) and about 200 absentee (sp?) ballots are also to be counted. We will see in the next few days, but insulting my dad is a bad way to dispute a conflict.

For example,
During election day he campaigned ~20FT from the polling booths, thats illegal.
During petition signing he claimed my Dad dropped out.
He's claimed my dad was a communist and a KGB member.

Please, i dont want ot argue with you like a little baby, stop changing words around, Krasny never said your dad was a communist kgb member, stop trying to change things. He said your dad graduated from a private russian institute which he THINKS, leads your dad to TIES with the kgb. He never said your dad dropped out, and if he compained 20 ft from the polling booths, he w*ould get caught, and even if he didnt, lets see the proof. And dont tell me its in my dadas office its private, i cant show it here or whatever, if you cant show it, you cant say it. He never claimed your dad dropped out, he claimed the petition was invalid. Stop tieing things together that should not be tied. esongy, your opinons are cool, i disagree. im not being no jerk, i hate it when yakov tries getting poeple on his side while chanign the story around. esgong tell me somehting, did you even know who ari kagan was before, or do you even know his politcal views on issues? I dont think so, so dont just start saying im a jerk and you have to agree with yakov. How can you agree when you dont know? Google up articles krasny vs kagan, read it then tell me. Dont just blah it out becuase you dont like me, becuase i dont like you either.
As for angel, i would have to agree with you.

And yakov you know you have no freinds as it is, please dont get boris to send me things that esong said and then typing "owned". Beucase this is just a forum, i dont value poeples opinons unless their worth valuing, i dont care, i dont spend all day browsing and becoming the top 10 postor like you do, so just go to your little pool homeroom and dont talk to me lol. Im not here to start fights, your the one who started with my 9/11 topic. I was never talking to you, i was talking to pokerkid.

1) Krasny SPECIFICALLY stated that he believes my dad has TIES WITH THE KGB. There IS proof of this, on a russian TV program there was a DEBATE, and he CLEARLY stated that my dad had ties with the KGB.
2) He personally did not say that my dad dropped out however he told his petition workers to tell people that, in fact my dad was forced to go on TV and pay $1200 dollars so he could have a 5 minute program telling people that he didnt drop out.
3) He sued me dad and brought a Church PASTOR who had NOTHING to do with the petitions and a 78 year old disabled woman to COURT also having nothing to do with the election.
4) How can you hate my father when you don't know squat about the elections?
5) You hate it when I twist words that are TRUE? I hate it when you manipulate people and think you know everything, when you CLEARLY don't know half of it.
6) Please go back to the 9/11 thread and you'll see exactly who started it.
7) I have no friends? Nice one, how old is that like the 4th year? I could start talking about your lack of friends but I will not.
8) I have 88(?) posts that is NOWHERE NEAR the top 10.
9) This is not the 9/11 topic
10) Agreeing with angel? LOL -- she's like your cousin or friend or something, of course you agree with her since she agrees with you -_-.
11) i dont value poeples opinons unless their worth valuing Correct you value no ones opinions except your own which Angel seems to have. (No offense to Angel, very smart girl, knows what shes doing, unlike some people)
12) Oo pool homeroom such a good way to end a post.
13) You did indeed get owned, and people here don't know who boris is, this is not a chatroom its a forum.
14) Do you know his political views? No you dont.
15) He DID get caught however unlike Krasny my Dad doesn't play dirty and didn't want to release the footage but now he will.
16) Im the little baby? Im not the one being accused of being a jerk.
17) Please know your facts before trying to argue, and learn how to use grammar and spelling. Thanks.

Dude shut up and go to hell. I refuse to post on these forums any longer.

And just so you know i do know your dads politcal views, on gay marriage for example, if someone in your family revealed their sexual orientation to be something other than straight, would your dads political views change? Well just so you know a good politicans opinons never change and they never switch sides even if their the underdog. Those kinds of people are called a**-kissers. You are an a**-kissers, when your lazyness kicks in, which ever way to roll to your advantage, you roll that way. Friends, dont even bring them up, you hang out with 2 people, nick and some other asian kid. Last time i checked, i wont even get into this. If you have something to say, say it to my face, not on aim, or through other people. And if you decide to piss me off every so often, then so be it, well settle our problems in a manly fashion, well at least i will. So take your cutey wootry and shove it up your a**.

1) Gay marriage is the only view know because I posted it.
2) My dad's opinion would NOT change.
3) I know what a good politician is.
4) When my lazyness kicks in is when Im frustrated and that happens to occur a lot when I was with you.
5) I hang out with more than 2 friends and you've forced me to talk about your friends. Last time I checked you have two friends, Angel and that kid who smokes pot at the age 14 (nice friend).
6) I said to your face and your reply was "You're gay" nice reply.
7) Yes, manly fashion, although you've never fought anyone in your life cause you were scared (remember the fat kid)
8) My sister is cute.
9) Bthsnews.org is more successfull than anything you can ever pull off.
10) Bye.

On a side note, deepest apologies to the members of BTHSnews about this quarrel, hopefully he will not return.

You guys seem to have some unresolved personal issues stretching beyond the election. THis is not the place to take them out on each other. As for him knowing me, i don't believe i do... I mean, i suspected that, but the person i suspected him of being i don't like too much. So no, i don't believe i know the guy. And after the "you're gay" reply, i like him even less. I don't advocate taking out personal vendettas on internet chat boards.

I'm confused about point 11, although i know i'm a smart girl, lol.

As an insider, if you're goign to bring up that court case, i've heard that your dad brought in African American witnesses as he knew the judge would be african american. Once again, i apologize if i'm wrong, but i've heard that around the russian grapevine.
