Welcome [back] to BETA, old and new members! All the new members here should have received a phone call about their status in the BETA club. If you never got a call, chances are we tried calling many times and never got through to you. We apologize for any miscommunication but hopefully this email will be helpful.
Please be advised that our first general meeting will be on Tuesday, Oct. 24, after 9th and 10th periods. If you have a tenth period class, we still have a separate meeting for you after your class is over, so make sure to come to the meeting. This applies if you have another club 9th period as well. We understand that many Muslim students will be absent this day because of Eid, but unfortunately we cannot postpone the meeting any longer. All students who will be absent for religious purposes will be excused; please provide us with an excuse note at the next general meeting.
Please expect another email from us telling you where to go for this meeting... currently there is some uncertainty about this but all members will be informed shortly.
-If you are a new member who is missing things from the application, please bring in the necessary items to the first general meeting. This includes verification letters. If you do not provide us with this information in due time, we will unfortunately have to drop you from BETA.
-Any questions about the new points system will be answered at the first meeting, including points for Chinatown Beautifcation and Soup Kitchens.
