i dont think so...
PS3 was a major folly by Sony... they didn't design the system for the average person... they made it cost way too much, set it up for expensive and new TVs... made games cost $80...
not many would want to buy a PS3 when they could get a people friendly system like the wii for less than half the price and with new and cool innovations to make gaming more interesting...
just because it has nice fancy hardware doesn't make the PS3 good at all

Xbox 360 is also made for expensive tv's. Some games have issues on sdtv's also.
Oh and 99% of all PS3 games cost $60 or less.

PS3 is going to be a greater product than the 360, its still early but later it will really be a big seller.
P.S. The font for the PS3 "Playstaion 3" is the same font style as Spiderman's (In the movies not the comic or tv show).
