Does anyone know how to convert a cassette tape to a CD? For the Talent Show we have a couple of people who have their music only on cassettes but we need for it to be on a CD.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

"I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head"

You'd need a tape deck or some cassette player with a line out, a sound card with a line in, and the cable to connect the two. What happens next depends on what software you use to extract the audio from the cassette. Nero WaveEditor, to name one, would do the trick.

It'd probably be easier if you buy or "find" the tracks online if you don't have the equipment readily available.

Some MP3 Players/other portable devices have line-in audio ports. You can record it onto that, then put it onto your computer, then burn it onto a CD.

You're in luck if you want a more in depth guide. There's a new guide on wikiHow: http://www.wikihow.c...ape-to-Computer
