bring up anything that interests you that is happening in the world today. discuss it, joke about it (be tasteful) or do whatever you want with it. hopefully this can bring out people's concerns and ideas.

oo I have one! that's actually quite new.. we discussed it today in my science research class (well the version that appeared in print) http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/world/AP-C...amp;oref=slogin
quite disturbing what could possibly be getting into our food supply. and um, in the print version (dunno if they said it here) it said that FDA doesn't test for things unless its a problem. if something isn't noted, its not looked at until there's an incident (like all these pets dying). That seriously scared me. and did you know the FDA (food and drug admin.) allows up to 90 pieces of insect parts and one rodent hair in our CHOCOLATE CANDY BARS! (ok, its processed in, but still, ew!). It's making me wonder, why the U.S. doesn't have tighter controls on food because people could develop allergies to some of the chemicals that's getting into our food and no one would know what the problem is because we aren't aware of these things.
I <3 NY. the only place where you'll find an M&M store across the street from a Hershey store, and walk pass a cow boy in March wearing nothing but his hat and a brief, playing a guitar..
