Is your book by Bloomsbury publishing? if it's not I doubt the signature is real. If it is then it might be possible- I have no idea.
Its a Arthur A. Levine Scholastic one.

"I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head

The time it took to read HP7 was a record for me too. I guess that's because I couldn't put it down till I'm done.
I love HP7! Second to HP5 where Sirius died. Too many deaths in this one though :'( After Sirius's death, I disliked Harry Potter. After HP7, I guess I hate him. I'm not sure if we can spoil or not.. so I guess I won't.. my fave part of hp7 was the prince's tale. It was unexpected but sweet.

Well, it's good at least to see people reading, that's been the biggest benefit of the success of this series.

i just found out that that signature is printed on all the deluxe editions. it looked so real, yet it isn't.

I loved it. It just kept you hanging and hanging for what would happen next. Some things were confusing and I'm glad that what every body said was going to happen ,didn't happen. It was the most emotional book in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure J.K Rowling finished it there. She wants to move on to other things, sadly.

Sometimes when I read Harry Potter, I don't even pay attention to what's happening and seem to doze off (if that makes any sense). I didn't liek the fifth movie though. I guess Harry Potter is not as interesting as I used to find it to be.
