Yeah the simpsons movie was much better than i thought, the commercials made it look bad  . I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry was hilarious, one of the funniest, no probably the funniest new movie i seen this year, again the commercials underplayed it. They were both pretty good movies.

I would have to say Knocked Up, I didn't expect to laugh as much as I did in that movie. The other movies I really liked were Paprika (not really a summer movie, but awesome) and Paris, Je T'aime. The Simpsons Movie was good, but somewhat of a letdown for how much I've invested in the series over the past fifteen years.

I have only seen "Harry Potter" and "Live free or Die Hard". I thought Harry Potter was good but I was disappointed by the ending. Live Free or Die Hard was better than I expected it to be. The movies I want to see now are "Superbad", "Hotrod", and the "Simpsons"

If you haven't seen the broadway show, you won't know what to think of it for a bit, but the music is great, and the parts were very well cast.

Superbad was really funny, and somewhat relevent, since we're all in or have recently been in high school. I normally find it irritating how movies portray high school, and how its nothing like it (to more of my pleasure than displeasure I think), but I thought there was something really authentic about Superbad. Like Knocked Up (made by the same people) I was really surprised how much I laughed during the movie.

Rush Hour 3 was just a let down, personally. Artic Tale, interesting but I couldn't stop laughing at the narrating job by Queen Latifah. Hairspray was very very good, I didn't know what to expect, but I liked the storyline, it made Grease seem pointless.

I disagree Rush Hour 3 was indeed funny! Lol.... it had a fare distribution of comedy and action scenes! Personally, The Simpsons Movie was a major let down! It was even stupider the cartoon, which i happen to joy on some occasions; spider pig? come on that was even funny, but the audience started laughing! Superbad was very very very funy! lmao! It was truly a very great movie! I seen a lot of moves this summer... but my all time favorite was a Mighty Heart with my girl Angelina Jolie! She is phenomenal actress, an actress that good is rare to find, i don't think there is anybody who could of played that role better than her! Applause to her!

I saw Evan Almighty, Fantastic Four 2, Ratatouille, and War.

I have to say, I liked Ratatouille even though it was a bit too young for me (innocent fun is underrated :D). Same with Evan.

I loved Fantastic Four 2, and I hadn't even seen the first one...
War was a-ma-zing. The plot was so good. The trailers totally underplayed the movie.

that movie to me had split comedy. In the simpsons movie i think some parts were made for kids to enjoy and others adults because in the movies mostly the audience over the age of 11 would all laugh at certain parts and vice versa for those under 11. ( believe me only the kids laughed at spider pig and they sang along <_< ) although i did like the song when he was fantasizing and they made it real dramatic, oh and the boobie lady, that was funny lol.

Lol yea that was kinda funny. Thats the only part that put a smile on my face lol! Lol i can't get it out of my head she was funny and thats about it! lol omg. a/w i first seen te simpsons movie trailer in the movie theater while i was waiting for transformers to come on. when spider pig came on every body started laughing, even adults, so i would hve to say i disagree. Personally althogh the lack of comedy, i personally feel, the timing of the movie couldn't be even greater. It sends a message about global warming and polution, it brings an exaggerated effect of pollution but it still left the same point that if we don't decrease pollution bad things will result. I also think the movie needed to work a little bit more on the political humor. It was corny.

also for a pg-13 movie, i found 1 part unnecessary, and that's when he was skate boarding and if you seen the movie you'll know what i mean ( although it did catch me by surprise  ) a lot of little kids was watching that movie from camp because cartoon movies really aren't that explicit. by the way there wasn't much political humor, it just related to the plot (it did need work) but you shouldn't focus on that just watch the movie ;)

I seen the movie already and i know the part you are talking about, the part when Homer dared Bart to skateboard naked. A clip of him skateboarding naked was in a trailer so it shouldn't be that surprising, unless you didnt see that particular one. In terms of political humor im talking about the parts with Arnold schwartzinnager , or however you spell his name. Did i make it seem as if i didnt see the movie already?
