I can't let my dad read the Onion. Every time he somehow gets his hands on one he starts ranting about government and the United States. It takes my mother and I a while to convince him that it is satire and not based on real facts.

Even though The Onion has contacted these groups about the fact its a fake paper, they still cite the stories.
