I custom built mine, with a mind set on overclocking. Many of my friends complain about the 100 bucks for 2 gbs of ram. But its very good and fast ram and its very overclockable. The whole build cost around 750 without extra stuff. The mobo is a blood bit, again good for overclocking and so is the processor.

That's one sexy GPU...I have a nvidia 8600 GT and I can only get CoD4 max settings at 50 Fps >_>, but with that computer, you could play basically any game out there that's made for computers and games that could come out in the next 10~12 years. enjoy.

Seeing that you bought everything off of newegg, I think you got a good deal. Personally, I would have waited for Black Friday or around Christmas. Newegg tends to have really great deals then.

AMD processors are actually much better than Intel, Intel just has the name recognition. You get better quality off AMD and lower price because they are not as famous.

Newegg's a great retailer, but not everything they sell is a great deal. Few are outright lousy. At a given point in time for a given item, another retailer has it for much less. But then, some people will pay any price for piece of mind. Good for them.

The truly savvy people who do not care about instant gratifications don't jump at Black Friday or at Christmas, the traditional sale dates (which btw, the sale prices offered by retailers at those times have been pathetically weak as of late). They stake out using deal aggregator websites and wait for as long as it takes.

Best deals don't have a predictable timedate. And the best deal prices will sometimes never be matched for years by regular sale prices (which goes usually goes down annually; depreciating value, etc.)

well Aldalome, my old computer will still be used by my dad, i could have bought a cheaper case, but the only color i found was pink, so i decided to go with this one.

I bought it now because I need it before Black Friday or any holidays. My old computer was so unbearable, it took 3 minutes to load microsoft word and took 1 minute to load counter strike. It freezes occasionally and i would lose a lot of time when i try to do my homework. Seeing the good deals, I had to buy it now. And i need it for music editing :/

Chinaman, Intel processors are now better then AMD. They use to be worse then AMD, thats why you see alot of AMD gaming computers, but now Intel gaming computers cost more. I flipped a coin and got heads, which meant INTEL, because I was stuck with two choices that were equally the same.

Yeah, the graphics card was pretty cheap, especially with the rebate.

I don't think I can play games that come out for the next 10 years >.>

I do that with friends when im bored. When no ones on I play ESEA, or do pick up games and scrim. Every tuesday i do CAL we just won todays match. I'll add you tomorow =] AP english essay right now

You should have invested in a Wolfdale and a P45 chipset motherboard as they will be the next main standard soon with 45nm processors being churned out by Intel and soon AMD.
