Well, I saw the first episode of this season last night, and well...in my opinion she kind of "kills" the original atmosphere of American Idol. I don't get why they had to add another judge to begin with. The classic Randy, Paula, Simon trio was already going so great. And this new judge, Kara DioGuardi, just doesn't seem to fit in much. Maybe it's because she IS a new judge after all. But it just doesn't fit. Anybody else have anything to say?
New judge on American Idol. Opinions?

I wouldn't mind if there was only judge, simon on the show. It would be hilarious.
But 4 judges doesn't seem fun, what if its a 2-2 vote? Do they make it or not?
3 is the best I think, or even 5.

Well Simon used to do something similar in England. So I see where he comes from.
But as far as I know, if it's a 2-2 vote, then the contestant makes it in. It's really...argh.
Bottom line. American Idol sucks now.

The first season was great because it was something new to the world. Also Kelly Clarkson is the most successful Idol winner hands down. But it's weird how the people who do not win are more successful, for example: Chris Daughtry, William Huang.

Yeah, very true. Some people just have the luck. And some winners never even bothered after they won. Like I think the winner of either the 2nd or 3rd season...(Ruben..?) What ever happened to him? Fantasia Burrino? I mean Kelly Pickler didn't win first place yet she seems to be pretty successful.
