When and How do I apply to be in NHS? I'm currently a sophomore.

I have the required community service and grades. Just wondering when and where to apply.

Well, I guess you fill out one of those applications forms available from www.btnhs.org and I remember hearing from somebody you need to go to one of the meetings where they have people applying or something. Check the site.

When the application is released - which will be shortly (before summer), you will need to fill it out and hand in your paper work. You do not need to go to a meeting to apply.
