Oh well. Finally we got our dear [or maybe not so] results about NHS acceptance. Everyone I know, who applied for NHS, got accepted, and we all got a question sparked up in our minds.

Can we change our committee choice on the next year? Let's say, I picked Academic Recognition for my Sophomore year. Can I then switch to, let's say, Tutoring for the Junior year, and then switch to College Service for the Senior year?

Yes. You select your committee every year.

You should also consider going deeper within a committee and looking for leadership opportunities.

Yep. Absolutely. Especially applying to be Junior Chairperson when the opportunity comes. In addition to that, there is an annual Leadership conference that NHS's national chapter hosts every year. This year I think we are going to pick the Washington D.C. location because it's the closest one. It's not really expensive. It is definitely something to look into when the opportunities comes.

Ok... So... I applied for committees. My friend received a response from NHS about 2 weeks ago saying what committee she got into. I still haven't received anything. Makes me feel a bit uncomfortable <_<

What do I do? :o

The chairperson of the committee notifies you. Some take a bit longer than others. Hang on tight. If you do not get an email after school starts, contact the NHS VP of Committees, Eddie Hom.
