I heard that since colleges don't look at your major, you should pick media since it is the easiest one and try to take as much AP's as you can since there is less stress. Is this true?

No because
1. Media is not the easiest major
2. Media only has one single period AP. IAS allows you to have 5 APs and extra
3. Other majors have more APs or double period APs.
4. One of the Media teachers dont give that high grades. Unfortunately, he left so I dont know how lenient the new teacher is.
5. You get more stressed with more AP classes because there is more work and you need to prepare for an exam in May.
6. Media can be a lot of work.

A major like law or chemistry provides ap's which can save you money after high school. keep that in mind (:

Only apply for Media if you're interested in art/music/theater and plan to do well. Don't apply if you wanna get the easy way out, or else you'll face the wrath of DoodleKid!

Media is one of the "fun" majors where you can release your creativity! It's not the "easiest" either or the one for slackers. It is very time consuming but the reward that you get is personal accomplishment ~ look at the video in the above post. It takes a tremendous amount of time to edit a video even a simple one. You learn a lot of skills through the use of the software that the Media Major incorporates into their classes. Just keep in mind that you can still be a doctor or lawyer or engineer without having to take one of the science, engineering, or law majors Tech has to offer. However, it is a good start and very good preparation for college. I took AP Chemistry and I'm flying through it in college right now and getting 100s (yes, I'm one of those kids, the curve killer) on exams.
If I could've chose a Tech major again, I would've done Architecture or Media honestly.
