On a side note, my middle school guidance counselor never told me about high school orientation before attending here. So I missed it.

So on a Saturday morning, I was wondering as a freshman, how will I be able to participate in this (Aerospace Engineering) major? What are the requirements? When is the right time? Have I missed anything already?

In short, at the appropriate time, you get to choose your 3 top choices of a major. Your grades are a major factor into getting into the major you want to be in. So, the main thing you can and should do for now is do well in all your classes for the next two years. As a freshman, you have not missing any requirements yet, however, as in you should be thinking about your future, you should be thinking about this as well as one aspect of that. I can't recall the exact months, but you pick you major end of second year, since major applied to your last two years.
As a side note, become pro-active, especially now that you've been burned by lack of info: Spend some time on bths.edu, and do so once a month or so, until you get familiar with all the different parts, rules, groups, places, programs, etc. Note that there is a section of bths.edu dedicated to majors including what they cover, little "commercials" about them, etc.

Xyz has pretty much said it all. Come the 2nd term of your Sophomore year, you'll be able to look into the majors and rank your majors. 1st is obviously the major (Aero in your case) you want most and last is the one you want least. Different grades are weighed differently for each major.

I believe for aerospace (like other engineering majors), they rank you according to your overall average in your math courses, science courses and technology courses. On that note, let me see (because I just love pulling up links), Aerospace
Cool avatar by the way.

You can't expect to do everything, but there is everything to be expected.

You will get to rank all the majors in your sophomore year. Then there is a system that places everyone in major according to the grades and preferences.
