I believe people have a right to express their beliefs. If they wanna do something like that, who are we to tell that they're wrong? I believe in God by the way.

There's tons of ads endorsing belief in a deity-- I've seen a lot in the subways. This is merely the same thing, but from the other side. Why should it be received any differently?

Don't really remember what it was advertising (a book I think), but I'm pretty sure it was on the R.

In Atlantic-Pacific downstairs you see people in um... old fashioned clothing, 18th century clothing, handing out fliers and singing.

In the article, a mother is afraid her children will see the Atheism ads and that her children will call her a liar, that God doesn't exist.

People in costumes, handing out fliers and singing seems like a scheme to lure children, of other religions, into their hands.

I'm against the fact that people are even mad about Atheism Ads, or spreading of Atheism.

The mother's religion could be doing the same thing.

Alright, thanks for clearing things up. Yeah, I'm pretty upset about it too. People should be allowed to voice their ideals.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and I strongly believe that people should decide for themselves whether or not they believe in a deity.

I think that your views on these different ways of communicating different beliefs will come down to your morals. Are you unbelieving but respectful? Or are you stubborn and refusing to let the world speak? After all, one of America's founding reasons was freedom of religious persecution. Diversity is what we were built upon and is also why our country still thrives today.

Although it goes against what I believe, I'm not concerned in the least bit with how they're advertising. They have every right to, and we'll just look like hypocrites if we say otherwise.
You can't expect to do everything, but there is everything to be expected.

From what i know, other states already have these ads.

Why would New York be the latter of their ad campaign. I would assume that New York has a higher population of Atheists than most other states. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have any problem with this, just as I don't have any problem with people handing out religious stuff on subways. Like other people said, they're just expressing their beliefs.

Its ironic most Atheists bash Christians and other religions because they shove their beliefs down your throat. But now it seems its the other way.
