There should be a Google Wave for bths. I am not sure of how to start this since Google Wave only accepts invites and I am not sure about how many of the BTHSnews members has invites or is even in Google Wave. Just post your opinions or ways on how we can start this and get this running.

Care to elaborate? :D
Would it be a public one for all students and teachers? Or would it be only open to those in a prefect/cluster?

I guess one for all. Google Wave is kind of like Email, Facebook, Twitter, and IMing all in one. Once you experience it with a "contact list" of wavers then you will get what I mean. Of course Wave is currently in preview and is only accepting invites, this is a concept after all.. Also I quoted contact for a reason. If you don't have a contact list then you will have no wave to i mean contact with.

Well actually there is a point to this, I have been a fan of Wave for a while.

And don't forget that BTHS can use it with their own branding (like the mail we have now).

Maybe if we can get our own Wave license like for the mail we have now it can emailing a whole lot easier! (I think I just repeated the same thing you said) But the restriction is that you cannot use the Wave email address for external purposes like Facebook and such.

The Wave system would also be nice for the BTHSnews club as a way of editing articles/sharing ideas.

Sorry for bumping a months old thread but if any BTHSnews staff member or member needs a Google Wave account (in other words "invite") for a test run just PM me on the forums.
