I might apply next year. I don't know if I should. It takes up so much time to stay after school. Is it staying after school every day or...? It's great for your resume, but it's time consuming.

I don't think you have to stay after school. O.o;
and it only takes your lunch period.

You can't expect to experience the benefits if you don't sacrifice something................

OK, now I understand why people have been coming from all over.
I am going to outline accurate (to date) requirements of joining Technology Squad.
Academics
1. No class may be below the grade of 85 (unweighed).
2. Good attendance throughout the year.
Keep in mind we have a way of checking this information.
Requirements.
1. Basic ability to identify simple computer problems and repair them. (Training available to certain extent).
2. Interest in computers/technology. This is not something you feel like you have to do, this is something you should be enjoying.
Sort out your reasons for joining Technology Squad. We had way too many people who tried to join "for the credits" That is the wrong answer.

Credits.
1. Available 6-8 credits per term, depending on your status (to be determined within a few weeks of joining).
2. If you are terminated from you position in Tech Squad during a term, the credits will NOT be awarded.

Schedule.
This has no effect on your schedule. It is done in free time only. So, before school, during lunch and after school. You only have to come to one, but not limited to. Attendance is required every day.

Jobs.
1. A summer job/internship is offered to a limited number of students. The terms are to be discussed with the leader.

NOTE. As of January 1st, 2011 the registration is closed, unless you are recommended by a member.
Spots will be available next year, upon the leaving of Tech Squad Senior Members.

TSOfficial.
