why does Al Gore say he created the internet..? i read him saying that once n i heard it in America n.. .. yeah.. i never got what the big deal was..

Nope, he never said it. It was just a mis-interpreted quote from an interview that Bush exploited during the elections. It's a shame really.
Meaning he supported the creation of it
But Bush, being either dumb (or surprisingly smart), basically lied to the people and twisted his words.
Mudslinging sucks, especially false mudslinging.

It'd be pretty hard for me to imagine life without the Internet. Imagine all the time wasted at the library doing research and alllllllllllllllll the boredom. lol

The internet was never meant to be what it was today it started with 4 computers in a goverment project called darpa or arpa, i forget.

The internet was started by the goverment as a way for reserchers to exchange documents faster around the cold war era
