1) I have volunteered at a tutoring center for over 150 hours, but i stopped working there. If i tell colleges that i worked at Guideline Tutorial, is that enough for them to believe me? or Do i need a header? If so, I gave my header in for the NHS application, but i dont have it with me now. Is there anyway i can get it back from my NHS application?

2) Is Gold place in high school science fair anything to say in the college application? is it counted as something really good or just something that isnt very important?

4) How do colleges or high schools calculate GPA? What GPA makes a 89? how bout a 94? i heard some colleges dont grade Technical drawing courses/woodshop. Are there any examples of colleges like that?

Thanks

1. Your extracurricular activities are outlined in your guidance counselor's recommendation.

2. Yes. You can include that in your college questionnaire - see the college handbook.

4. They calculate it by looking at it. If you have a 94 avg, that is your high school GPA, simple as that. If you heard that for colleges then do research on those colleges. You tell me if there are examples.
