Hey guys n' gals. Just wanted to ask a couple of questions about FFXIII before I actually buy it. Ya see, I haven't been playing the recent FF games and was wondering if I start with this one, will I get the story? Also, how much gameplay does it offer? I'm hoping its going to be a long lasting 'cuzI hate games I play for like a week then sell. Lastly, is it real time combator turn-based, and can you change weapons and armor? If you have the game, I'dreally appreciate your feedback.

Basically, world's dying. You save world. The end.
I heard the gameplay's really good and lots and lots and lots of characters.
BTW.

I'm not a FF player, but I do know some essential stuff about the series.

Every FF game is it's own story. For example, FFXIII isn't the continuation of FFXII. All FF games share similar themes, such as creatures and magic, but can be played on their own because they are each set in their own universe.

I'm not sure about the rest of your questions, but I'm pretty sure all FF games are turn-based in combat, with the exception of the Crystal Chronicles series.

Try looking on YouTube for some gameplay videos and Googling for some game reviews.
