So, do you need to be a member of SGO already in order to apply?

One of the application questions is "What have you done in the SGO?," isn't that a bit biased then?

Just say that this is the first year you're applying then. I mean, just because you haven't been in SGO doesnt necessarily mean you're not capable of being in a leadership position. i.e. you can say that you're the president of a lacrosse team or that you've done certain events outside of school.

I think the question needs to be modified, Samantha.

But I do believe that you had to be in a branch of SGO somewhere down the line before you can run.

Yes, it should be.

I confirmed with Mr. Williams- he said that no prior experience is necessary.

Though I never liked the rule of having been in SGO as a requirement for running, the past two years have showed me that some prior knowledge is necessary. But then again, I read up a lot on Tech on my own time so I don't know how effective it would be for someone else.

Wait, wens the deadline? because in the attached app it says thursday the 12th(but the 12th is a wednesday) and the app at the bths website says friday 21st ummm which is it???
