Is AP Bio (for the bio-med major) a double period or single period?

And is it possible for a junior to only have 7 classes instead of 8/9?

I don't think it's possible to have 7 classes. You need to take a history, english, math and science class, plus 2 periods of major, plus gym and lunch. That's 8 periods in a day and only if you consider dropping a language class.

It's possible but not for you in this case. If a junior had alrdy took biology in 8th grade, chemistry in 9th grade and physics in 10th grade then as a junior they won't have a science class resulting in 1 less period.

Is there an option to drop lunch and have a 1-8/2-9 schedule?

Edit: Level 2 Spanish, so I'm definitely having 9 classes next year.

Yes. But I never recommend dropping lunch. My friends who have done it in the past were miserable.

Your health would take a toll.

And is there any possible way for a freshman to take multiple periods of science (no, i'm not in Gateway) ?

You'd be taking the regents level of Biology, Chem, or Physics only depending on what level you're coming in with.

If you took Earth Sci in JHS, then you'll be enrolled in Rgts Living Environment (Bio), if you took biology already, you will be enrolled in PHYSICS. Your ES credit doesnt count in Tech as a "science requirement" but it will be factored into your average so if your junior high school teacher gave you a 95 then woohoo, you're off to a good start.

If you haven't taken ANY regents at all in science, you'll still be enrolled in Biology.

AGREED.
I didn't have lunch this year and a few of my teachers don't approve of eating in class. I relied on granola bars this whole year, can't wait for school lunch next year!
