What average gpa would be in the top 5, 10, etc. percentiles for this school? Do we do percentiles?
You can't expect to do everything, but there is everything to be expected.

There is none. It's based on the strength of your class. This question has no answer to it. You will have to inquire your counselor for the data to your class.

When us sophomores had to apply for majors, the ranking for college prep would show your rank out of the 1250 or so sophomores. Judging by what I got and what my friends got:

Top 12 people (top 1%) = 98.38
Top 5% = 95
Top 10% = 93ish
Top 25% = 88ish

That's just for sophomores though and the last 2 are pretty much estimates.

a 94.5 would put you in the top 10%. I happen to know because I had a 95 average and I was #99 out of 1109
