In this new firmware there aren't that many changes for the ipod touch but more for the iphone. But anyways for the ipod touch we now offically have game center. In the game center you will have the ability to play multiplayer with other friends. But what sucks about it (not for me) is that you need wi-fi. (I would say thats common sense or else how would you communicate with someone other than 3g and bluetooth.) So for the people that have the 4.1 firmware and made a game center account comment below so that we can have a list:

Don't bother. 4.0.2 is just a patch against jailbreakme.

pod2g and posixninja have a bootrom exploit in the works for 4.1. If you are on an iPhone ignore MatthewR, stay safe and don't update because 4.1 also has a baseband update which may ruin chances of unlock.

Also you mentioned having an iPhone 4? Virtual high-five! (Did you get your free case yet?)

Yup, I've been checking up on those 2 and a few other people every few hours. Staying on 4.02 for now and nope didn't get the free case yet. Anticipating a released JB within a week though :D *fingers crossed*

Indeed. If you didn't order your case yet, go for the Griffin Reveal Etch. I have it and it holds really nicely in your hand.
