After the first day of school, I received my schedule and found out that I'm taking Algebra instead of Geometry even though I took the Algebra Regents this past year. I've heard the only day to change your program is on Monday and you would have to have proof. I thought at first that my Math Regetns grade and stuff owuld be on ARIS or some sort of other online database thing....well I oculdn't have been more wrong. Its pretty muhc Sunday, and I doubt I can get proof by Monday from my JHS guidance councelor..

Any advice on what to do and how to handle this situation?

Do you still have a copy of your 8th grade report card? If you don't, maybe you can print out a section of your transcript on ARIS maybe? (I mean assessment detail)

The alternative is going on Wednesday, which is the last day for everybody. If you don't have proof, you'll be in Algebra for the rest of the year, an extra year of math for not being organized.

Have your parents contact the middle school and fax the official records to Tech at (718) 260-9245.
