Okay, so today was the first BTHSnews meeting. We were given a simple assignment;write a short composition about our partners. Based on how well we can write I'm assuming you will give the better writers, jobs as journalists and stuff like that. My question is, what type of jobs do the less talented writers have open to them? We were given a few tasks and things that we can do to help the club, but I don't think we were given all the options. Could you state that as well? Also what are your thoughts on the club for the people who went there for the first time today.

I think we put that portion very poorly.
What we want to do is get the good writers from the start, then as partners you guys will learn off each other. It's also good because no matter what, you guys can look over each other's work.
Also the summary about your partner is part of the introduction process next week.

All articles have an introduction with some background information on the topic.
The point of the article about your friend is to introduce them to the club!

Write anything with the mindset that the reader has NO IDEA what you are talking about and you need to explain it to them. If the reader is left with questions regarding content and not intuitive questions with the style of your writing, then you are not being an effective writer.

I guess I didn't explain myself well :P I meant that instead of writing the article about my partner that was requested on Tuesday, I was wondering if I could just write a different article related to Tech. But whatever, I'll just write both
