Hi.

Was just wondering, I'm on a team right now, and I heard you get kicked off if you fail a class. Is this true?

If so, do I still get credits for being on the team? Considering the season is almost over...Or is that up to the coach?

That would be up to the coach. Usually they just suspend you for a marking period, and if you're still failing than you get kicked off.

The credits are up to the coach. The coach will suspend you if your grades are not up to par during marking periods. Once the term ends, you can be kicked off for failing a class.

What you may have overlooked is that being on a team is a privilege. Whenever you put on a team uniform with the name, Brooklyn Tech on it, we want you to wear it with pride and represent Tech. However, if you can't keep up academically, then that privilege can be taken away.
