does anyone know if double period AP classes count both twice and are weighted?

Yes! If you have a 90 in AP Bio that's like having a 99 counted twice in your report card!

how sure are you cause i also heard that its only 1 class so you only recieve one grade?

It is one class but you receive the same grade counted twice for double periods.

thats amazing. a 100in a double period AP comes out as a 110 counted twice.

Yes but you have to work towards that. A double period 65 grade would harm you.

I am as sure as the weight of the course - 110%! It counts twice.

on the schedule it says apush for one period and western political thought for the second period .. :/

The AP US grade will only be factored in once and Western Political Thought will be factored separately - not as an AP Class though. Are the teachers the same?

Tell your teacher to actually ask her supervsior. This was resolved before the strat of the school year.
