I cleared this up with Mr Williams.

Students with:
-free/reduced lunch- you are automatically registered for all the APs that you are taking classes for.

Samantha,

I think the BIGGEST concern is: When they say automatically registered does it mean I don't have to do anything? So if I have free/reduced lunch, I can just sit back and wait until May to take the exam(s)?

If you can answer this question, this will save a lot of the headache. Because even Mr. Williams' message is unclear. The administration needs to break terms down to teenager terms or they can expect every kid asking the same question to Mr. Raftery in the GO Store...

^Yes! Do I have to do anything if I have reduced lunch?
You can't expect to do everything, but there is everything to be expected.

Nope. You dont do anything until the list comes out where you can check whether you were waived or if you paid.

The AP exam posting on the school website has been updated:

Quote

NOTE: Approximately every two weeks, an update log will be posted showing the current status of payments. It is every students responsibility to make sure that the posting is correct based on information available as of the posting dates. Students who receive free or reduced lunch as of December 1, 2010 will automatically be marked as registered.

ATTN STUDENTS in AP CLASSES: Check Daedalus to see what AP exams you have registered for or have automatically been registered to take. For those of you who still need to register (those without free/reduced lunch), do it asap. Registration must be completed by January 15, 2011. Look at bths.edu for further details.
