So Major selection is next week, and I dont have a !@#$ing clue what I want to get into. No particular interest in anything the school has to offer, so which major is the "easiest" one. Don't say college prep because that doesnt even count as a major.

I've head Civil is pretty easy and so is Enviromental Science...idfk though everybody says something different. Which major offers the most laid back courses?

No major offers the most "laid back courses."
Each major has atleast one AP or PLTW class you have to take.

What would be easiest for you would probably be something that interested you.

If you're unsure, go to the Major Information Conference either on Wednesday or Thursday. You might be surprised and learn that there is a major after all that you do like. Very rare that not even one major interests you.

Edit: It's mandatory to attend both days.

Civil is pretty interesting in my opinion. I actually find it fun and worth my time.

LOLED. They said the same thing last year about it being "mandatory". Guess who didnt go to it? I Didnt! They didnt even require you to swipe your ID or anything to prove that you attended that night... And they wont require anything this time either.

I'm fairly sure that civil has a hectic schedule senior year. I would've voted IAS but we're done now, so if you want something easy go college prep. Those APs will save you a bunch of time/money if you go to a suny or cuny. Don't go with an engineering major, I have a friend with a 1-10 and no lunch due to his major...

What he says is true... choose an engineering major only if you have a passion for anything in that field.
You can't expect to do everything, but there is everything to be expected.

Damn... I was hoping for an engineering major because it sounded interesting, but if it'll get that hectic, there's no point in taking it.

Unsure about your major? Mid-week BTHSnews.org will be releasing major reviews! They include perspective by students and a detailed overview of all the classes.
Look out for that!

If you're truly interested in it, it is worth taking.
Sure you'll have a hectic schedule, but it might help you for the future if you're to take similar classes in college.

I don't see how you can have a non-stop 1-9 or 1-10 with no lunch and be okay with it. After 8th period i'll probably drop dead in the staircase probably going the wrong way, getting trampled over saying elp, ELP, HELP!

Which is why we don't get on the computer at 7:57 in the morning posting on forums. We sleep in.
Also, some teachers allow you to eat a snack or a "mini-lunch" outside of their classroom in the first 5 minutes of class. They know that some of you don't have lunches.

Some will look the other way with you eating in class. Just pay attention, don't bring food that makes a loud plastic noise, and just throw everything out and dont leave a mess. If the teacher doesn't see what you left behind, then you're fine and the privilege is there for the entire class.

Yes, I usually get away with eating in class. As long as I ask permission.

You'll be considered for SSR, if you're not accepted to SSR you'll be automatically put into college prep since it's your second choice. The ones below don't matter.
If that's what you wanted, then that's right :P
