Google.
Its pretty much user friendly, and easy to use. All you do is type in the key words to the things you want to look up. There are no distractions and ads like on Yahoo! and Bing!

Google!!! It has everything. All the other sites are confusing or put a whole bunch of unwanted stuff and ads in the search.

Google wins, hands down. Funny, fast, memorable, provides you with news even if you weren't looking for it (sometimes there are banners on Google, and if you put your mouse over it, it tells you what it means). But I have to say, Yahoo! did do its best to catch up, even if it did fail.

Thats why people say "let me google it" . No one says lets go on yahoo and search it. Google has the best monopoly. Microsoft is a close second for monopolies.

Of course, you can also use a search aggregator (a search engine that displays the results from multiple search engines).

Dogpile.com is one. It currently searches off Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask.com. (Back in the days, I think it used as many as 10 search engines - but many of them have since folded, merged or became obsolete)
