Alright, I have a couple of problems regarding course selection:
1. Do we need a written application when applying for AP Economics/AP Govt? If so, where do I get one. (Preferably not from my teacher, he's not the brightest guy on the planet)
2. Do we need to/should we sign up for classes that are offered as part of our major? I don't want to end up without the classes that I want.
3. How can I apply for AP Java? It doesn't show up under my senior tech electives.
4. Is AP Econ/AP Govt open enrollment? Meaning that all students that apply get in.
Some info to help:
I'm an electromechanical major, meaning that I will have CIM, DE, AP Physx C, and AP Calc BC next year as part of my major.

1. I don't know (I can't take either next year bc of my major.) However, if you do, your teacher should've mentioned it.
2. No, you don't have to sign up.
3. Appearently, the only science/ tech elective for juniors is ap physics C...
4. It's not open enrollment...Student applicants will be placed in rank order by "Power Index" provided the requested class fits in the schedule. Social Studies Power Index = Overall Average + English Average + 2*Social Studies Average.
